In terms of straight-out 'normal' metal I like WASP, Grim Reaper, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and some Angel Witch.

I need to keep spreading the love for Forest and Raven Dark. Both ace NSBM bands.

Also, this "ONE REC THREAD TO RULE THEM ALL" idea has been attempted a number of times never actually suceeding.
