Strapping Young Lad was awesome but I love his solo stuff & his short lived band The Devin Townsend Band alot.

SYL is an awesome band, gene holgan on drums ( does the drums for dethklok to) byron stroud on bass (does bass for fear factory) and both jed simon and devin townsend are awesome guitarists. besides how many people in metal are bald and yet have dreds ?

Devin is an awesome musician and the rest of the band is simply great as well. Anything he touches even if it's a piece of s**t turns into gold.

SYL now that's a band I wished to see live sadly enough they kinda stopped...but according to his wife he'll be at it again when the baby annoyed him enough and when stuff in the world gets him pissed off again.

All the albums are great...the new black might have been the least...aggressive one but it's still good. Just hope Devin starts Strapping back up cause I just want to seem them live once in my life.

on a little side note...seriously who doesn't want to look metal like Devy when going bald. Hell I wouldn't mind having a skullet like that...if my girl read this though she'll kick my a** again...for some reason she thinks it's gross...
