newbie here. I came to the metal thread expecting to hear about a bunch of new american stuff. I've been in the viking metal scene for a while and I'm amazed other people have heard of some of these bands. My favorite bands include but are not limited to... Turisas Ensiferum and early finntroll.

The True Godth HeartlessPrime newbie here. I came to the metal thread expecting to hear about a bunch of new american stuff. I've been in the viking metal scene for a while and I'm amazed other people have heard of some of these bands. My favorite bands include but are not limited to... Turisas Ensiferum and early finntroll. Ensiferum and Finntroll are great!!! I havent heard Turisas... turisas is a lead singer, guitar, base violin and accordion. They all wear red face paint on stage and have the slogan, '******** guitar solos' (base solos violin solos and accordion solos are A okay) and they involve the audience at live shows. I've been in the pit at ozzfest from 9 am to 5 pm and I was more tired after 2 hours of them. great songs are: one more, battle metal, midnight sunrise and a hilarious cover of rasputin which sounds different from their other stuff. |
