I'm not bullshitting a genre. Google it, look it up on wikipedia. Metal-archives [though I know it's not too reliable of a source] has over 300 bands listed as Pagan Metal.

I'm not saying it isn't a genre, i'm just saying we're not taking it, you said it's a sub of black so that's what it will be. Don't bother adding on genres if we don't have them. There's not point making something more techinal then it is.

I wasn't trying to be difficult. Just figured it would be accepted since the last time this was up, I listed three bands as being Pagan Metal and there was only a minor discussion about it before they were accepted. I'll remove the Pagan Metal label on the two bands, though it will be very difficult for Nydvind.

Well this basically is the old one, so I don't know where you've come up with that. I don't believe is a genre, if you give some sort of explaining of what it is, we might think of putting it there.

There isn't much of a strict definition on it. Hmm..I guess the only way I could really see it as needing to be on its own, is defining it as leaning closer to Black or Folk Metal. As that seems to be the case with a lot of bands I've seen [ie. Nordisches Blut -> Pagan Black Metal]. *shrugs* My brain is fried.
