Diffidentia ...I don't think "Pagan metal" is a genre. Lyrical content doesn't make a genre. You can have pagan-themed metal, but... It's a sub-genre of Black Metal. And it isn't necessarily the lyrical content that makes the genre. It draws a lot of influence from Folk Metal (just not enough for it to be considered plain Folk Metal) and uses a lot of pagan imagery. |

I'm not bullshitting a genre. Google it, look it up on wikipedia. Metal-archives [though I know it's not too reliable of a source] has over 300 bands listed as Pagan Metal.
