Also I haven't been listening to metal, I've been listening to 90's emo inspired hardcore spinoffs for about a week and I'm not regretting it at all.

But as far as metal goes, I don't know a bunch of people, just a select few, that enjoy Diabolical Masquerade. Wierd avant-garde and black metal inspired one-man project of Katatonia guitarist Anders Nystrom. At times goofy as ********, but sometimes its just like the best BM, and then others its kind of just like, its own goddamn beast. I dont think I've ever been quite so impressed, I own all four albums personally, and I only buy physical media once I've heard something so many times and loved it so much that I could probably just summon the damn MP3 with my brain anyway.

As in, it's like they never existed.
I can't seem to find any mention of them anywhere.
Not even Google is coming up with anything.
Quite strange.
Anyway, their music was a beautiful mix of metal and doo-wop.
