There's a few....

Melodic death metal wise, Dimmu Borgir.

Hilarious.
They suck.
Also, not even a Melodeath band (from what I remember), Symphonic Black Metal actually.

Some of their music is considered Melodic Death metal.

By people that have probably never heard Heartwork, Storm Of The Light's Bane or The Red In The Sky Is Ours.

Psure at least 2 of those albums are by At the Gates, not In Flames, and psure they are all Death Metal albums, and psure that In Flames was Melodic DM earlier in their career and then changed into nu-metal like ATG did.

One is ATG, one is Dissection and one is Carcass.
They're Melodic DM albums, derp.

I got confused yeah Heartwork, TRITSIO, and SOTLB are kinda melodeath, tho TRITSIO is way more just full on DM than MDM honestly, and I haven't heard SOTLB for ages.

On my part, Terminal Spirit Disease probably would have been a better choice.

Also, Massive Killing Capacity is a pretty sweet MDMish album.

Well I'd say that every thing by DB is s**t no doubt

But really they aren't very BM after Stormblast, much more death metal sound.
Basically they were like Emperor lite > Emperor lite w/ lots of ******** keyboards > kinda bmish but also with like Amon Amarath sorta stuff > less bm than before > now just gay keyboards and some metal riffs that no one can even really place that sound "scary" and "evil"
