Night elves in the proverbial "hiz-ouse". There's nothing quite like architecture that gives 'em what for.

And far too much emphasis on using Gimli as an amusing comic relief style character. That was Gollum's job! >_<

I agree... though I did like the "toss me..." part. thought that was quite funny. The short thing wasn't good, but the interplay of, gimli: "I've got 3!!!" legolas, "fifteen!!!"

Yeah, the two of them competing was fun, I really liked that part. I just wish people had more respect for dwarves. It's sad, really. =(

I'd respect the dwarven community, I really would, but Gimli's the only one we've seen. Legions upon legions of elves, enough hobbits to disarm every trap in Isengard, A HORDE OF ENTS, and.... gimli. Poor guy- it's not that he's short, it's that he's gotta be the last one, and nobody's told him yet.

No, there's other dwarves, they just mostly live underground ALL the way on the other side of the Lonely Mountain. That's why you never see them - they're pretty far removed from the action.

Still, though, you'd think Gimli would have noticed when the Christmas cards stopped coming from Moria. He looked pretty surprised that everyone there had evidently been dead for thirty years or so.
