I have a rumor to squish.
IT'S OK TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT.
VO says that people never get banned just for having more than one account. (Read the post where chibigreen tenjinashi was banned)

If you use the account to run a spambot than you will get IP banned. Or if you do something like run a fake lotto where the other account wins, you'll get in trouble.
But if you use it to roleplay, or to have a character of each gender, even to make all your spam posts so all the posts in your profile will be worthwhile (As long as you don't use a bot!), OR even to ATOR on your friends (fool them into thinking it's really a different person for pranking purposes, often leaving clues to your real identity.) then you won't get banned for it.

Very interesting, can you post a link to where VO said that? I was under the impression that it wasn't ok because the FAQ asked that users only make one account so they could more easily keep track of the number of users. Mind you, it's been a long time since I read that, so...

My mistake, it wasn't the FAQ that asked us not to have multiple accounts. It was the Gold, Rares and More thread. It said:

Added the bit about the multiple accounts under the Rumors section.

Added boombanda and Neo Gabi as members (Neo, I didn't know you wanted to join or I'd have added you earlier)

If you think of an oath I'll make your cards for you guys then upload them.

You'll have to download them and upload them somewhere else though cuz Angelfire doesn't like hotlinking. (I'm getting away with it right now, but I dunno for how long).
