I'd like to break 2k tonight at least--since I was busy doing other things (aka procrastinating) I didn't start until this afternoon. I'm finally working on a story that's been floating around in my head for about a year though, so it's falling into place really well so far.

I see a sig that's a bit too large--make sure you're not over 500 px or 100kb (I have to run to town in a sec and get dinner for everyone or I'd PM the culprit directly).

Speaking of which, can anyone settle a diagreement between a friend of mine and me? She says working at a library is volunteer work, I say it pays. Anyone know who's right?

Well, both. You can work at the library for pay or as a volunteer. At least here, anyway.

Most libraries use volunteer staff as their main way of taking care of the library, but there <i>are</i> full-time staff members who are on a hourly or salary pay. Due to the fact that libraries are [usually] government regulated, they need a lot of volunteer work to cover the staffing because they can't afford to pay too many full-time staff members.

The initial slice was the result of me fumbling while trying to remove the cover from the shaving end of a fresh razor, so if you're not a klutz or you don't shave your armpits, it shouldn't happen to you. xp

I only use disposables. sweatdrop

Those things can do a lot of damage, I know from experiance 3nodding

I don't have the money to support a perm. razor and I'm always careful. 3nodding However, when I get a job I'm losing those things for good. xp

Razors are not good friends. =X Funnily enough, I had cheese stuck under my thumbnail and tried to remove it with a small knife (smart, I know) so now I have a nice little hole on the tipe of my thumb. I have adjusted to using my index finger to spacebar, but it feels weird.

That's a good start. I didn't think I'd have many words right now, but for some reason on the first day things just came pouring out. I haven't updated my signature since then, either. Too lazy. heh.
