I'm currently trying to balance vanity and appeal. It's also interesting because I need to find a way to make my character meet up with Geff's. Hee.

My story for last year's NaNo was normal modern fiction.

Needless to say, I think fantasy is more fun to write, which is why I'm writing it for summer. 3nodding

I'm writing fantasy too.
(Bleh, my novel wasn't supposed to be fantasy. And it wasn't up until the last sentence I wrote xD Now I'm stuck with what direction I want it going in *sigh* This is why I should plan.)

If anything, I have more respect for fantasy writers, because I simply don't have the imagination for it.

I'm writing fantasy too. stare I don't know how much longer I can take writing about Han. She's so annoying. . . I just want to kill her. But that would ruin the plot. stressed

Yeah, I'm writing fantasy too. xp I'm terrible at writing fantasy. More or less because I'm doing non-human characters and all I ever did before this was realistic fiction! gonk

Fantasy here too, since I need to get my MC's backstory worked out before I can resume writing the other story (which I'm stuck on, due to a huge lack of worldbuilding gonk )

I started out with a few sentences of a Sci Fi novel for my Gaian Wri Mo, but ended up finally writing out the story of a character I've had for a while. So, Fantasy for me, too. xd

Talking about distractions...

I sit down at my desk, laptop in front of me, pumped up and ready to write. I say to myself, "this time there won't be any distractions!"

And I suddenly hear the sound of fire roaring. I turn to look out my window, but the entire view is blocked out by a multicolored portion of billowing striped fabric. Turns out that a hot air balloon landed right in front of my house.

Damn hot air balloons. Always sneaking up on you. domokun
