Welcome to Gaia! ::

Blank Shade
Blargh, spent two months not writing, and finally got started again last night. xp

30K in ten days? can it be done? I'm about to find out. domokun

...Course, it might be a bit difficult what with the way my compy keeps crashing at least three times a day. ninja

Hooray for floppy disks! 4laugh

But first, Waffle House!
Whee! I've been writing a bit here and there, and I'm back to being only about 4 days behind. domokun Now, as long as my batteries don't die before my boxes get here, I should be fine.

...And where the heck are my parents? They said they'd pick me up at nine-ish, and it's a quarter to ten.

Also: chapter 15 up!
NOOO.
I didn`t hear about summer nano until now. -sob- And now it`s too late!! crying I`ll have to gruel and stuff in moments of writing between homework and chores, and skip lunch because I`m trying to squeeze in a thousand words or so. eek
I'm with you I nanos in Febraury because I heard about it for the first time after it was over. Nano year round!
I need to reinstall Windows Office before I can finish mine! crying Nuuuu!!! Im going to get this done if it kills me (thou Im not a fan of dying yet)
All this time...and yet I can't seem to write. gonk The pre-climax just happened (or, arguably, the actual climax), so it's mostly downhill from here...but I just can't seem to do it.
Just found this thread, although I started my summer nano in June. I had the brilliant idea of taking a novel writing class too, unfortunately as soon as the class started my writing stopped. sweatdrop I did pick up a lot great tips and have lots of new ideas for my story though. But at only 10k and a week to go I don't think I'm going to make that deadline.
I really wish the official NaNoWriMo weren't in November. That's exam season! For the last two years, I haven't been able to participate because of that. It looks like it will be the same this year. Good news, however, is that I'm almost finished the novel I started for my first NaNo!

I've often tried to celebrate NaNo on my own time, during a month I could count on having free time. But without the pressure of an established deadline with others comiserating, I've never been successful. sweatdrop
sweatdrop I found out about NaNo in my Gr. 12 year, so you can imagine that was a failure, and put a dent in my grades (as if I wasn't doing that all ready.) But this year, I have no idea what I'm doing, so odds are I'll have a job for the time being, trying to figure out what classes I'm taking, hopefully giving me plenty of time to write.
exclaim Chapter 16 up!
8 days left...and I've got 11 days worth of writing to go crying

9,000 more words!

...although I think I might fall short because of lack of content. I don't want to drag it out too long, but... crying
I'll probably do NaNo for November, after school's started.

Before midterms, but after the beginning of the school year. perfect. blaugh
Whoo! Saved by the random plot twist I never saw coming! xd Content, ho!

ninja

It's always the quiet ones who crack...

*cracks*
I just had a sad thought. What happens to this sticky at the end of August? crying
Everybody's gone...

Chapter 17 is up.
