Do you know what's really sad? The water/phones/electricity have just come back on here and after brushing my teeth and eating, the very next thing I did was get on the internet.

I was only without it for a day and a half!!! eek

Last September, we were right in the path of Hurricane Frances.
We had no power or phone for four days.
We stayed at a hotel the last night because without air conditioning, Georgia is freaking hot all the way through to November.
I actually went to the library to get on the Internet. I went to my friend's house to get on the internet. I didn't eat first. I didn't brush my teeth first. I just got online.

Haha, sounds like me. Except we didn't stay at a hotel. My parents made us suffer in the Florida heat. We were actually lucky. We didn't have it for four or five days either, but most didn't have it for seven or eight days. When my dad's friend's power came back he let us borrow his generator. And my mum wouldn't let me put the computer on it. Only the tv, the fridge, and I think the AC. But that night we got our power back(there's a guy lives by us that works for the power company and so he went and got our power back on, cause it had his power out too) and the first thing I did was turn my tv, my fan, my light, my stereo, and my lava lamp on. Then I turned it all off and went on the computer ^_^ lol.

I'm glad there are no hurricanes in Iowa...we've never been without electricity for more then one night. When I move to Hawaii...it's probably going to be a different story.

I went to Hawaii when I was 5, and all I really remember is:
a) It was hot most of the time (this was in September)
b) There was a GIGANTIC cockroach in the hotel, and I tried to catch it. xd
c) Banana trees!

That, and I'm one of radioactive's WriMos characters. I need some opinions on my outlook...does she seem like one who tortures her characters?

My journal is cool...and sort of boring. Nothing fun has happened yet, but if you want to know what's going on in radioactive's story from my perspective...it's updated whenever I feel like it. Maybe twice a week.

LET'S PLAY GUESS THE WORD! (because I just had a major brainfart).

I'm thinking of a word. Meaning: has a liking for. As in, "he had a _____ for coffee."
I keep thinking that it's penchant, penchannence, perchant...something along those lines. Not preference, though.


...wait, thesaurus are my friend. Is it penchant? (says inclination, taste, bias) That doesn't sound right, though...is there a related word, or do I have the right word?

My theory is that they're updating the shops with items - during the middle of the day. xP I'm not complaining too much, if that means nice, new items.

I find this lack of decent, white clothes disturbing. While Gambino's shops are a slight improvement over D'urem, the shopkeeper has no sense of modesty, and I would not buy anything there.

Had I not spent the last five years of my life walking around in a gravel pit of a shrine, my feet would be bleeding by now. They incarnate you in this world - and fail to provide shoes. I sincerely hope they equip you with thick food pads.
