As anyone that has actually followed this and still cares enough to look can see I've finally opted out of most of the weirdness. *still has a second account, so there isn't much of a difference ninja *

I guess I would like to wish our resident cat "boy" and elf good luck with their continued changes, but somehow.. I doubt that is cause for concern after that. xd

Otherwise I will just look forward to the next piece of community-wide weirdness and wonder if either of those two actually plan to change back before the year is over. domokun

On February 18th, Gaia's one year anniversary, siryn and Desna (Hey! That's me!) made a bet between each other to see who could stand being in a male avatar body for a month. This thread was started and bets were made by friends and fellow Gaians on who would change back first. Shortly after the betting began the other moderators got caught up in the gender change and more than half of the mods joined in, switching their avatar's gender. This threw off and confused a bunch of users here on Gaia, one of which created this thread (link) in the Questions and Feedback forum. Because of that thread, an explosion of gender switching among the regular users of Gaia occured and much fun was had by many. ^_____^

It's now been more than 4 months since siryn and Desna changed. Almost all of the others who joined in on the gender switching craze have returned to normal and the bet has long since been over. However, even with the gold bet over, siryn and Desna are still waiting to see which of them will change back first.

So~ When will siryn and Desna return to their true female forms? Who will finally give in and return to normal first? The world of Gaia may never know. ninja
