No worries. I didn't find out till last night. I've been offline all week, and no one could reach me. Shannon IMed me as soon as I got online...I didn't need her to tell me, though...I think I knew already...knew that something horrid had happened when he didn't call me Monday...

I really don't know what to say. When you've only spoken to someone online it's odd to think that anything could happen to them. It's lovely that a library will be named after him. I don't know what else to say, other than that I feel sad. cry

While I can't claim to have known him very well, from the way I've seen him treat others cheerfully and respectfully, it is obvious that he was a kind, great man. I wish the best for him, for his family and friends, and for the library that will honor his dedication and love for writing and writers.

I don't know much of Tracey besides the fact that's given in the first post of this thread. But I'd still like to give my condolences to his family. I hope to read some of his books one day. I'll definitely keep him name in mind.

Rest in peace, Brian M. Tracey. Those you've loved and those who've loved you shall miss you most.

While Gaia may not always be a united community...it's at times like this that I'm glad to be one. Rest in Peace Brian M. Tracey. Even though I didn't know you on Gaia...I will miss you.
