Look, If Link was a girl then he would have certain different parts. Young girls can be mistaken for young boys because of their age but once they get as old as Link does, the diferences are more pronounced. Plus, in OoT, during the cut scene with the Deku Tree Sprout it says that a Hyrulian mother gave birth to a baby boy. PLus, the prophecy or whatever said there would be the HERO of Time, not the Heroine of Time. Since Link lived up to the role that would mean he is the Hero of Time and thus, a guy.

Blah, blah, blah, one of the different reincarnations, blah, blah, blah, he's good at hiding it, yadda, yadda, magic transformation, no one who's not a rabid fanboy/fangirl really cares anyway.

In that case, why should we label any character guy or girl? Zelda might as well be a guy and Ganondorf is probley a women too. Then again, all of the Gerudos are men too. Maybe there really is no gender in Zelda games.

nah, i think link is and has always been a guy. zelda does kiss him at the end of the joint game of OoS and OoA, and his voice sounds more manly when hes adult. in SC, they were probably trying to cover up the details. and in the new games, there was a photo of him in less clothes showing a side of his chest, and that was a males. the artwork makes him look more feminine since hes supposed to be a 'pretty boy'. also they call him young lad and stuff a lot in OoT, and why would he even be bothering to disguise himself if he were a woman?
