Sony and Xbox yes nintendo noooooooooooooooooooooo
Despite popular belief, Nintendo is not a "kiddie" company.
Its main target is kids between the ages 9 - 16. Yes they do have mature game rare but they do. mainly kids games
"Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure" is an example of a kiddie game. Simple story, easy controls, and so boring that playing it liquifies the brain of anyone over 6.
Whenever Nintendo makes a game, it's for "all ages." Anyone from 10-60 would enjoy playing such a game.
Hallelujah! Someone else who gets it. Just because the game doesn't have blood, bare boobs, and bad words... doesn't make it a "kiddy" game.
And just to bring up my last post (because I don't think anyone noticed it):

This thread amuses me.
I think the thread starter probably just started it to spark some controversy with the Zelda fanbase. And it has worked quite well, it has.
Lemme tell you that there are some odd fanartists out there, here is something drawn by a friend of mine:

And then something another friend found on some Japanese artist's personal site:

But, seriously though, all Links from the Legend of Zelda series are male. It's never been a secret. End of story.
