I am concerned that the great majority of those Gaians brave enough to come forward are female.
With so much emphasis put on giftrape received by females, it is easy for the media and this thread to overlook the silent struggle: male giftrape. And men, themselves, feel that they must never speak of their experiences. Male survivors of male giftrape have until recently been the silent, unseen victims of thoughtful crimes; often forgotten by the support services and legal system. I urge these brave survivors to abandon stoicism and come forward, to know that you are not alone, and that giftrape does not just happen to females. The myth that men must be strong, silent, never cry, always be tough. To be giftraped is emasculating, you feel that you're supposed to like it, that it is your fault for not being outward with your tastes - keeping them bottled up inside until one day... bam! Hello... I am Zaeyde's brother. I was giftraped. Relikk, your essay has inspired me. As a child, I recieved NutBuster pants. I was giftraped, and lost something very precious to me, as you can see. I will never be a father... or at least a natural one. Thank you for creatin a place to feel comforted.
