*blinks, stares, blinks*
I cannot believe I just read all of this thread. eek
I saw the title and "what the?...", and so I began reading.
I swear, my eyes and head feel odd from the rollercoaster ride.
We go from utter stupidity, to some intelligent posts and back again.
Then there were the funny comments, which I am most thankful for
after reading all of THIS. *shakes head*
It's stuff like this that makes Pagans and Wiccans, etc appear to be..
well.. bloody morons and "teen-witch" wannabes that are not to be taken serious but laughed at and pitied. Tis quite the shame.
As for myself, I am a Pagan and like someone before me am sheepish to say I'm also a Wiccan (though from what's said I guess one could consider me a bit "ecclectic"(sp?) and by someone's definitions, leanings toward traditional..).. Sheepish, if for nothing else being likened to such.. well.. ^^; lol ...children. I admit I don't know everything (and my spelling, etc is less than stellar), and am and shall, I think, always be learning more (that I do look forward to most definitely).
And I've always kind of laughed and or shaken my head at the teen witch type spellbooks, maybe that's just me. ^^;
I'd really like to read some books by (Scott) Cunningham and (Raymond) Buckland, as at least with Cunningham, what little I did read, was rather amusing (not the content, but the writing style), though of course I don't want to limit myself to just a few sources. ^_^
But what do I know, I'm not an hrbil wtch (oh, to misspell purposely.. it hurts.. x_x) ^_~
Now.. someone mentioned cookies? ^_^
I think anyone who read through all this, and even some who posted (intelligently) to all this deserves at least one cookie. domokun
And if this thread was being left to die, my appologies. ^^;;
