Gaia's First Year Memory Timeline ~~ Happy Birthday, Gaia!

My most memerable moment in Gaia had to have been when I got my first taste of the Gaia Exchange. In the beginning I would put off in getting a trading pass until one night of exploring the exchange, I came upon a thread selling Fox Ears. Of course I fell in love with them and would go perfectly with me. So I started to bid!! whee and towards the last possible minute, I won the auction! I was so excited that I won and that I would be getting my Ears. I've had the same one's since.

Getting the matching fox tail was a bit tough, I remember really wanting one to complete my look and I remember really really haggling to win an auction. Getting my fox tail took a little more work but I finally got it. And I've had the same ones ever since too.

I think the excitement of the change got me completely hooked and I just remember feeling really good that I've gotten the items I was bidding on. 3nodding whee

I joined in March. I remember how a error had happened and Lanzer told me that it was a good and bad time I joined. See, when I joined...everytime you posted you got more gold then you should, not to mention it took me a long time to try and register @-@ (Even though I have cable). So when he fixed it, I lost all the stuff I had gotten (The blue dress and the blue bow). He gave me 1K though because of the trouble and I still have the blue dress ^^

My best memory from gaia was when I first recieved an enchanted chest.

My highlight was the first time I got a pinkbox. whee It was in december, and I almost fell out of my chair when I got it. I got so excited and was overly careful that I didn't click on anything else. Turned out it had Laurels in it, which I loved at the time. 3nodding

I remember all the way back when I joined last August, I told one of my friends (konranjotai) immeadiately. He came on and started 'Assassins Guild!'. This is my most frequented guild and I help run it, I'm proud to say that at the moment (Valentine's Day 15.04 GMT) the guild is at 215 pages and is one of the most successful of all the assassins guilds (and there are quite a few let me tell you).

I joined sort-of early in September, so in all of gaia's time I joined sort-of late sweatdrop heh, I remember I saw a banner for the site in April or May on bored.com, and I went there and bookmarked the page thinking I would go back to it since it seemed interesting (agh if I knew then what I would have missed stressed ) however I promptly forgot about it and it sat there in my bookmark list until September, when one of my friends (Neko Matt) made me go visit and register to the site ^_^

and thus...the gaia addiciton began for me ^^ Now it's a very huge part of my time spent online, and my time online has gone up just because I am on here so often! xd

lol my favorite memory has got to be the release of the Halloween items xd I flipped when I saw those fairy wings and HAD to have them right away, I saved up for them right after they came out and even said to myself.."I'll wait and buy an angelic sash later, after I get the fairy wings" lol because at the time they were only 3.5k gonk

I haven't been here for very long, but I remember in January I couldn't decide on what to buy. In February, I saved up and bought some Exchange items for their discounted price. Then I donated a little to Gaia. Donating has to be very exciting. You're looking at the letter and wondering, "What the heck could be in here!? stressed ", but then you realize the possibility of being disappointed with the contents. Very nerve-racking..
