i remember back in july when i was a newb i was in the video game forum
and i had an idea if i posted in the most popular thread
saying post in my thread u get free gold
i was pretty smart for a newb :3
unfornetly i didnt know the exchange exsisited so i lucked out on bear hats crying i was living in the guilds

Month of January - I remember the announcement of the opening of January Letter was my most anticipated "event," for some reason or other. xd I mean, I had donation letters before, but I had really high expectations for this one. I wasn't going to sleep until the announcement was made; I could get pick my item, be satisfied, and then go to sleep. By 4:00 AM (Central Time), I was already really frustrated, because the announcement had not been posted yet, and I fell asleep. sweatdrop I awoke at 7:50 AM-ish because someone sent me a message on AIM, and thought, "Oh crap! What is it? What is it?! WHAT IS IT?!!?!" I rushed to the Announcements forum and found "Janurary Donation Items Released," posted by Lanzer. I quickly went to that page and stared blankly at the item I had been expecting. *blink blink* I admit, I was disappointed at first. I wanted to get rid of that January Letter because I was so angry! Instead I just went into my inventory and looked at the items to choose from again. Then I thought, "you know, they're actually not that bad." I opened my letter and chose the chain wallet. Later, I even decided to buy a second letter, because I began to favor the emo bag.

I do remember Halloween though. We were having food fights, or some crazy fun like that. Rather amusing. XD

I'm pretty new here, alright a "n00b"(just over a week), I was convinced by a friend to join. I was so impressed by this site. My friend, Tes' birthday was coming up so I wanted to get her a Nitemare scarf, it was on her wishlist. I decided to save up but getting enough gold was very daunting, anything over 1000g seems impossible to a "n00b", especially if they have to buy a trading pass as well. I set up a "quest" like I saw so many other people doing, I sat in my thread and I was pretty excited, I bumped other people's theads because I knew where they were at. Not more than half an hour after I started my quest, rachel_greenleaf donated me a NM scarf because I bumped her charity thead! My head nearly imploded, I really didn't think there were people that nice on the net(everyone I had dealt with generally were not so nice). Rachel has since left Gaia, as I understand but just that because she was so nice to me I've turned around and donate small amounts when I can. There are just some things that make an online community feel like a community. Very many kudos to Rachel and people like her 'cause you guys rock. whee

I joined in June.. I will never forget it because I was looking for a good guild to join when I saw this one for Irish people...well I am part Irish and so I went to look at it. I saw that no one else had joined yet so I posted in there asking to be the first member. The person that started it not only let me join but also gave me some gold for actually being the first one. I became co-owner of the guild and since then me and the owner have become a couple. We talk everyday. He has unfortunatly found it more and more difficult to get on here in the past months do to personal problems and so I have taken his place as Guild leader. I love my guild and love this site...it helped me make lots of new friends and find a great guy that I hope I can marry one day.

Another thing I will never forget is when I got on Christmas morning and opened the present I got from my guild members...it was a green kimono...the same one I had been wanting since they first came out...they had all pitched together to get it for me. I was so touched...you have no idea.
