<CENTER>What Is This?</CENTER>

This thread started out with one person, me, offering to do one free avatar portrait for a deserving n00b. Time has progressed, and eventually it became what it is today. Now we have two people offering avatar edits with weapons and another person offering random, free lineart.

<center>Why Do I Want Avatar Art?</center>

You may not know it yet, what with you being new and all, but avatar art can go for a pretty penny on Gaia. People can make thousands selling portraits and avatar edits of other peoples avatars. You'll understand better once you've been here a while, but take my word for it: a chance for free art is not something to be overlooked.

<CENTER>How Do I Get Chosen?</CEnter>

There are a few rules you have to follow if you want your avatar drawn or edited:

1 You MUST be a n00b. For the purpose of this thread, I am defining a n00bs as someone who has joined within 30 days of the present day. If you are older than a month old, then you are not a n00b. This is subject to change, by which I mean if you think this is unfair, then PM me and we'll talk about it. wink

2 You MUST NOT PM an artist unless they say it's okay. You will not get your art done for free by PMing them. It's annoying. wink

3 This isn't so much a rule as it is a helpful hint: If you really want to get some avatar art done, then post regularly. The artists will be popping in and out and if you put one post on page 63 and the artist shows up on page 70, they're not gonna see your post. So if you really want some art done, become a regular. Make friends here, hang out here, chat here. This thread is the official origin of the Pimp Daddy Zero Fan Club.

<CENTER>Okay, So I Follow The Rules. What Can I Get?</CENTER>

Here, I will post the name of the artist and what he or she is offering. Remember, DO NOT PM these people unless they say it's okay.

MWashu -- That's me. I'll be randomly choosing n00bs to draw, but it'll be very random and very rare for me to do it, since I've already chosen the Worthy One and the Worthy Runner-up.

Articubone -- She will be doing random lineart. What's lineart? Think of a page from a coloring book. I'm pretty sure it's like that. Totally random, totally free. Just don't bug her about it.

Atlimar Zero -- Atlimar has generously agreed to do random, free avatar edits with weapons. Atlimar needs the practice, and you know you want the edit. wink

The Swordmaker -- Well, his name pretty much says it all! He'll randomly pull a newbie from the crowd and edit on a sword of some sort. I've seen his work, and he's not too shabby. But again, random choosing, do not bug him.

<CENTER>Non-Art Related Stuff</CENTER>

Lovableteekerz, that oh so loveable guy, has volunteered to give away gold! Yay! But there's a catch. It's for the first person to post on the 100th page, and all pages in increments of 100. Here's how it works. The first person to post on the 100th page gets 1000 gold. The first person to post on the 200th page gets 2000 gold. The first person to post on the 300th page gets 30000 gold. See the pattern? So hurry up and post! You want that gold!

Anyone who is not a n00b but wants art anyway and wouldn't mind supporting the artists who are very generously giving their time and skill to a Worthy Cause, I doubt the artists would mind if you PMed them with an offer in gold for some nice art. ^_^
