Abstinence from meat on Fridays is not an option if you're Catholic.
So that, and I'm giving up ALL junk food.

It's not as easy as it sounds, I haven't done it in over eight years.
So this Fat Tuesday I pigged out at the Chinese buffet!!!!

One year I gave up secular music,
one year alcohol and desert,
another time I prayed a daily Rosary.

This is exactly why I don't do religion.
I just don't understand giving up something for 40 days just for some 'vengeful God' who in which nobody has hard physical evidence to prove He exists.
And before anybody starts whining, look I capitalized His name.
At least I'm being respectful, I think that is enough.
