I got to party with the old people last night at Mardi Gras

My friend and I are on vacation at the Villages in Florida [old people retirement community; we were visiting her grandparents there], and there was a huge party down in the square for everyone. cool
And we got a free bag of kettle corn by talking to the people making it, it was great. lol

i didn't get to go out and do anything fun; but... hubbs brought home a box of mixed paczki late monday night. x3

not sure about other places; but here in detroit.. Monday and tuesday are like.. stuff your face with as much red meat as you can; then tuesday is eat lots of paczki. then lent starts for all the catholics.

but you know what that means, right? that means it's the time of year when golden corral will be putting on their seafood spreads. wonder what they'll do this year. hope they bring back those maine crabcakes.
