Orpheus was always my favorite. I don't remember which one we did during the day several years ago, but I didn't enjoy that. It was way too hot and crowded for me.

Krewe Of Chartreuse they parade around the Quarter on Mardi Gras. is my favorite is all I know. They walk around giving shots of Chartreuse out. ******** BRILLIANT!

Where Im from its Krewe of the Yaya's and Krewe of the Sirens.
Yaya's because its all about pink, having fun, and a lot of old ladys partying.
Sirens because their cool. lol

Krewe du Vieux all the way bb. They had my heart years ago when they made a float depicting Bobby Jindal raping a Pelican with a sharpened pencil. heart

My favorite Krewes are all the old-line Krewes, actually, haha.

I know some people prefer the newer, super krewes, like Endymion and Bacchus, because the floats are huge and flashy and they throw a lot, but I love the older, more traditional Mardi Gras Krewes that have all the history behind them, like Rex, Proteus, Hermes, and D'etat, because the floats are all so beautifully and intricately designed.

Every float of the older-line Krewes is like a rolling work of art. And the stuff that they do throw is all beautiful, signature stuff rather than just generic throws that you can get anywhere.

I do have to say, that even though I do like some of the marching Krewes a lot, like Chewbacchus and Krewe Du Who, I'm really not a big fan of Krewe Du Vieux at all. D: I think they've gone a bit too far in the past from what I've seen.
