So, using your stats, your argument then is the group that produced 90% of history should NOT get a history month but the group that produced only 10% of history SHOULD?! LOL!
I'm not really against remembering great women of history. I just found the logic amusing.
The part I do get a little tired of is it seems like every month, week or even day is supposed to be 'something month' (or week / day). In many cases it is 'officially' multiple things. At least women's history is more significant than some. Go here for a pretty long list of that sort of stuff:
