Loveless heart I'm a fan of yaoi and yuri

Oh lawd I've actually started liking Yuri better than Yaoi. :3
No, its perfectly fine to like yaoi. However it gets annoying when two guys are just friends and both straight and fangirls always believe they are secretly in love with each other. Especially when one of the guys already has a girlfriend.
I never liked it, it is not that I am against man-man relationship it is not just my kind of thing, Yaoi.

It is kinda weird that every time I click on surprise me button on manga websites, they surprises me by giving Yaoi genres.. xp

Nope, it's not weird.
I've been into yaoi since the 9th grade now and I graduated year 2010. <3 So it's been awhile. Plus there is a LOT of it. And it's especially popular in Japan (and is only female made FOR females). Usually gay men tend to look at bara for some reason... >.> Probably all the buff, hairy guys! XD More "manly" men, you could say. Otherwise yaoi is sorta just like girl on girl, except they're pretty boys! <3 And girls love pretty boys. Especially in Japan. wink

You, my friend, are not annoyed at yaoi fans. You're annoyed at the slash fans. Two very different things. And totally understandable. I can't stand it myself (I'm a pure canon-lover). 3nodding I think the mangaka intended for the male character to end up with the female character for a reason... and I respect that. And that! Is why I like yaoi/shounen-ai manga, the mangaka intended for two males to end up... which gives the plot a nice twist and many opportunities for greatness! <3

Anyway, that's all I had to say! XD Sorry for ranting. sweatdrop
It's alright to like yaoi. It's the same ideal as hentai. rolleyes
*passes out from extreme bloody nose at the simple memory of reading fanfics or doujinshis containing yaoi* 3nodding
Not really. I used to be obsessed with Boys Love.
It's not the norm but hey, people like ecchi and hentai. I don't see anything wrong with liking any of them. Personal peference.
Hmm...I wouldn't say liking it in itself is 'weird' anymore than any other fandom, beccause hey, people like porn. Nothing wrong with that.

However, with yaoi, I just have to give you a...half-warning, I suppose. Against extreme seme/uke stereotyping and falling to the "if it's gay it has to be hot"mindset, which is objectfying/fetishizing gay people, and that's not cool.
Crimson Spell is a good ongoing yaoi manga
Also Cute Beast is a cute compilation of yaoi stories
and Loveless is good smile
Nothing wrong with enjoying yaoi. Good romance, often good story lines, etc. And good smut for those of us only interested in male bods, lol.

Yeah right. But I prefer yaoi over yuri. sweatdrop
My friend actually got me into Yaoi and now it's something I can't live without
