We need more yaoi with an actual plot. I would actually like to see a yaoi manga where we can get battles and stuff I have yet to read one. If anyone knows of any, do quote and recommend as Id be eternally grateful.

I'm a yaoi fan in bits. I have a read a lot of it, but don't like much.

Hydra and Rules blew my mind! They are an amazing story set, especially if you take the time and read them with the short stories and doujinshi inserted in the chapters. These are all multi-volume pieces, and are truly amazing reads.
I wouldn't start with Haito Diamond, it's pretty dark and mature. None of those I listed are comedies, in fact they are all slice of life dramas. There's no real action-y battles in those either, but they do have a plot and aren't 100% mindless *ya know*
I read Junjou Romantica as well to see what everyone was talking about, and HATED it. In fact, the only pairing I really liked from JR was the Egoist pairing.

I love yaoi, or romance of any kind, really. Recently I've gotten really into Kuroshitsuji, aka Black Butler. It's getting more and more popular in the West, and I honestly believe it's because it is shameless Boy Love everywhere you look. According to the wiki, it's categorized as a Shounen manga, but come on! They're not fooling anyone. And while it hasn't yet come out and said it, the obvious flirting and blatant UST almost makes it better than if it were open yaoi!!

I do not like a lot of her work.
