♥ Obviously, I'd think that Chrono Crusade is one of them. But I HATED the anime. They made Rosette so annoying in the English Dub. Chrono was cute though. ^.^;; Thank God. But I wouldn't really say it's the saddest one. Fruits Basket was pretty lame. I just liked it because it was funny in some parts. But other than that, it wasn't like O... M...G... And tied with Chrono Crusade would probably be Kieli. It was originally a book in Japan, but it was also made into a manga. Anyways, it's REALLY short, like two volumes, but all in all it was... um... bittersweet. And Harvey has like the cutest smiles ever! :3
Fruits Basket. I was more sad that it was finished, though.

I really don't read sad ones, at least not on purpose.
Socrates In Love. I cried at the end of the manga. It isn't a series but it is very good.
Bitter Virgin. Definitely the saddest I've come across. Motherhood and rape are as touchy subjects you can get.

And....Naruto has made me cry a few times. Yes, yes, I know; the good outweighs the bad but if you really think about it it's quite sad.
Full Metal Alchemist is really sad. Ed loses his leg and Al loses his body because they were trying to bring their mother back, and that's just in the first chapter. A lot more sad things happen in it later too.
OMG! I was just starting to forget about Chrono Crusade and then this thread reminded me *cries in corner crying *.
Anyway beside that Fullmetal Alchemist is so sad, I get teary everytime I see a picture of Hughes.

Ah, Hughes. Best FMA character ever. I cried at the funeral scene, "Mommy, why are they putting daddy in the ground?" Baahh, I still get choked up. D:

As with Night of the Chimera's Cry. That episode...was the first one I saw, actually. I had no idea who the characters were, and I still cried.

I agree with most people!

The first manga that made me really cry, as in wet shirt from wiping tears is Full Moon wo Sagashite. I read it again, dang it made me cry again.

Fruits Basket was sad too. Especially Akito. That person is a sad, sad person.

Another one is One Piece. Everyone's past stories. And the most recent one. This: Going Merry's Viking Funeral. It was so sad! crying

Bokurano. Ah god.
How has no one mentioned X/1999 yet?
That and various other CLAMP manga really are tear jerkers...

Oh, various parts of Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin as well

Parts of Saiyuki and Violinist of Hamelin

Houshin Engi once we get into the later volumes...same with Dragon Knights
A Freaking Fairy
Bokurano. Ah god.

Of course! How did I forget that? It was just tragic all the way through! crying I've never cried so much for a manga. It's great, but so sad!
