Rave Master, and One Piece (Robin's story)
Saddest Manga? Full Moon OMG so many sad moments. And of course fruits basket esp the 2nd to the last chapter about tohru's mother. crying
I cried 2 and 1/2 times reading Shin Angyo Onshi and was left depressed during multiple chapters.
I think the saddest anime I have ever read was Absolute Boyfriend. emo

Tsubasa spoilers may lurk in this post. = w =;;;

It's probably just because it's me.
But Tsubasa made me cry. So hard. So many times.

Because of Fai.

When he lost his eye. His entire past. When he started with the nicknames again. When Seishirou's dumb a** attacked him. When he wasn't in it for months. When he got his eye back. When he gets the s**t beat out of him. When he was left ALONE (with Kurogane) to fight a** - chin when the other four were somewhere else. When I found out that the last chapter comes out on October 7th. When I realized that that would be the last time I would ever get to see him in Tsubasa. When I realized that CLAMP may never draw him again. When I was remembering all that s**t typing this. [/shot]

Goong gets pretty darned sad x.x though it hasn't ended yet so there's still hope.. but really.. its the saddest thing i've ever read--and no body even died in it yet XD
It wasn't the saddest thing ever, but the last manga I recall despressing me was the twist in the middle of Onani Master Kurosawa. It went from bizarre/gross wacky/insane "wtf" Death Note parody to suddenly being a really legit, dark and tragic romance.

The saddest manga for me is Chibi Vampire. You're both happy because everything turned out all right but horribly sad because of what happens to the main character at the end.

"The Viera may begin as part of the Wood..."

I haven't read many sad manga's, but to me, the saddest would be Shaman King.. Mostly because it's finally over..

OH - and I can't forget Trigun. The way Wolfwood dies in the manga is even sadder, and that was the first time a manga ever made me cry. TT-TT

"...But it is not the only end that we may choose."
~Chrono Crusade
~Bitter Virgin
~Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (dun't ask meh y, cuz i dunno myself .__. )
~Death Note
....
and yet all of these are my fav manga 0- o"
