Good for the people who would have been sacrifices. But really would have been cool to have him in the series.. even if he didn't serve a purpose.

I did read somewhere about how he needed to keep up the rituals to keep his immortality.. so I wonder how long until his times up.

I don't care what anyone says; at this point there's no way Hashirama should've won his fight with Madara. It's inconceivable he didn't have this during his fight with him, along with everything else, and he still lost...So what else do we not know that Hashirama had that tipped the scales?

Nope. Just a REAL badass with plant-life. You also have to remember that Madara has a slew of advantages he normally wouldn't have when against the 1st Hokage:

He is a zombie that can't die and constantly is regenerating

As a zombie, he has unlimited chakra

He also has Senju's plant powers to a level that rivals Senju himself

Finally, and most importantly he has the full power of the Rinnegan and all the powers that come with it.

Though they aren't a lot, these things on, ANY person would make them pretty invincible by comparison to most living fighters. So Madara getting it is pretty much like giving Superman his own super vitamin d3 tablets. That being said, before he had those advantages, Senju, who was also pretty beast, had a likely chance to win.

UH yes... he had his arm blown off by Konan... and was melting after his fight with Minato.

He definitely regenerates... and also... Zetsu is Hashirama DNA modified as well... Honestly... Tobi could be a modified Zetsu clone...

As you just said, his arm was melting. I doubt that qualifies him as regenerating so much as possibly just reattaching another arm. Potentially a Zetsu arm.

As far as him being a "modified Zetsu", I'm starting to fall away from that theory and more towards him simply using zetsu attachments instead of human limbs. In other words, instead of him being a Zetsu clone that was "modified", I think he was a normal human being at one point that had his body, potentially from the neck down, transplanted with Zetsu parts.
