yes there are up to 42 episodes subbed in english and it fallows the manga perfectly but there is some extra things but its soo cute each charecter is done really well

I own volume 1 of Shugo Chara and while I liked it while the anime was still new, though I just brushed it off soon after. I don't know why. Maybe cuz I don't have much of a love for maho shoujo (or shoujo for any matter) manga/anime as I used to. The excesive populary also bugs me somewhat... *shrug*

Although, I like the art of the manga! Peach-Pit is great :3

watch the 1st episode you might find your interested and the opening and ending songs are soo cute and perfect for shugo chara

I agree with just about everyone here. I first caught a glimpse of Shugo Chara! through an internet search. For some reason a couple of months back I had the urge to search for magical girl animes. Since I had a craving and all. Ever since Sailor Moon it's obviously been a real guilty pleasure of mine.

Regardless, somehow, I found a list of magical girl mangas and animes on Wikipedia. So naturally I clicked, and voila. There was Shugo Chara! It got my attention so I started to watch the anime. Since I've been so busy I have yet to watch a decent amount of episodes, but so far I do love it. Sadly, I have yet to read the manga, which I intend to when I get the chance. biggrin

Kiseki is SOOOOOO much love!!! heart heart heart Why am I attracted to "World Dominating" types? >.>;;; Well, except for the Kira type.... that one I'll totally pass. I'm more for the humorous kind of characters. I mean come on, Invader Zim is a PERFECT example. *nods*

Well, I thought its really girly for a plot but I still think its a good manga. The art is pretty good in my opinion because everything is mostly clear and I can tell the things apart. The plot I think is a masterpiece since I don't have much self-confidence in myself. Plus, Amu is my favorite kind of heroine. I can't say I'm totally addicted to the manga but I think its something worth reading.

The anime is sorta annoying, though, because there's so many fillers, since they can't get ahead of the manga...but still. 8D

Love the charas and art...Peach Pit rocks. ;D
I also love Rozen Maiden, Zombie Loan...I still have to read DearS. xP
