Your Rating for the Artwork: A
Your Opinion/Review of the Art:The artwork is very unique especially for the Shoujo genre, It has the basic elements of Shoujo style but the artist's style is unique and gives it a more real-life feel adding to the overall series.

Your Rating for the Story: A
Your Opinion/Review of the Story: The beginning may not be an automatic eyecatcher at first for those not inclined to this genre but the overall plot is phenomenal. It takes into account two characters from different backgrounds, both having some painful pasts, who slowly get to know one another and learn to like each other for their unique traits and sometimes annoying habits. It also shows how the two characters personalities slowly help each other grow as they encounter the challenges life throws at them and struggle to overcome it together.

Suggested for people who like: An even darker not as light-hearted version of Kare Kano is my reccomendation but another site suggests that those who like Cat Street or Bitter Virgin might like this

It's up to Takagi to use his hacking skills to clear his father's name. Then Maya shows up at Takagi's high school to be his new biology teacher...?

Your Rating for the Artwork: 4/5
It seems like typical shounen art to me, but it is very good.

Your Rating for the Story: 5/5
I very much like complex stories about hacking, computers, and whatnot. This has a lot of drama and I often find myself wondering where the plot will go next. Lots of twists and turns to keep the story fresh and exciting!

Suggested for people who like: Death Note
Oh good lord, you don't know how much there is to post, though I am only going to suggest one.
I have to say, it's not popular at all, but I really like a manga called Pig Bride! If you like romantic comedies, then this is for you! <3

Your Rating for the Artwork: B
Your Opinion/Review of the Art: The most important thing here is the story. Bit the drawing is super
Your Rating for the Story: A
Your Opinion/Review of the Story: The story is amazing. It could trap you for hours. Every episode is full of surprise, due to the fact that the main character is a sort of lucky guy. Every single episode shows you a team almost incredible, with super interesting characters like Hiei or Kurama. Personally, i can´t decide between manga and anime. And when it finally ends, you want more episodes and more info, more of YYH. Extraordinary.

Title: Ao Haru Ride. Or: Aoharaido / Blue Spring Ride / Youth Ride
Rating: A
Genre: Drama, Comedy, Romance, Shoujo, Slice of Life, School Life
Basic Premise/Basic Plot: Futaba, although extremely awkward and standoffish when it comes to boys because of their rowdy nature, has had her eyes on the lightly built Tanaka-kun because he doesn't act like a guy. Her feelings may be returned but because of a misunderstanding she ends up losing her chance to confess and without warning Tanaka-kun transfers out of their school. Coincidentally, soon after that she ends up ostracized by the girls in her class for her popularity with the other boys in being so feminine and cute. As Futaba makes it into high school she completely revamps her image in order to stop such mistakes from happening again. Time and time again though, she thinks back to her old crush Tanaka-kun and the happy memories that the two of them shared. Will anything ever become of her love that ended before it even started?

Your Rating for the Artwork: A
Your Opinion/Review of the Art: Sakisaka Io's work has probably been praised to death before, but it is so lovely. Her character style is consistent but her characters aren't clones of each other. The lines are dark and clear. Sakisaka has a talent for being able to express vast emotions in a character's face that you can feel although the face itself gives little away. The texture of the clothing her character's wear looks real and comfy. If there's anything to complain about, sometimes the mouths can be a bit large and silly, but this is usually for comedic effect. Also when a character cries the tears start out as giant unrealistic orbs, but it's forgivable because it's pretty cute.

Your Rating for the Story: A
Your Opinion/Review of the Story: I cannot give enough praise. A cute, heartfelt, and undoubtedly shoujo-set manga has never made me feel this way before; with each chapter I am always satisfied yet still grasping for more. The characters are all very relate-able and realistic so you aren't distracted by the all-too-common wtf manga-logic. In a way when reading it I feel like I'm living through someone else's eyes because these are believable teenagers going through believable teenager dilemmas. The largest amount of praise for the story, in my opinion, should come from the male lead, who typically acts like aloof and mysterious like we've seen time and time again in shoujo, but actually has a good reason for it. He has been through what most kids haven't at his age and his transformations that he goes through with Futaba are beautiful, so sweet, and sometimes heartbreaking. It really hit me how realistic his feelings, actions, and attitude tailored to his actual situation and I would know because I have been through what he's been through, to the T! It sounds serious, but overall the story is very light-hearted, happy, and certainly youthful.

Suggested for people who like: Strobe Edge (Sakisaka Io), Kimi ni Todoke, Dengeki Daisy. Sakisaka Io's style seems to be concentrating on emotions and everyday life, so I doubt there will be things like sex or smut (there hasn't been any so far, and doesn't generally happen in her other works) but it's not like the characters pretend sex doesn't exist, it just won't be focused on. So, if you're into the complete package of romance, with sex, you might be disappointed... but even then, I doubt it. wink

Stats:(Sorry, I know <--this isn't standard). As of 2/6/2012: It has not been licensed in America, and the first 13 chapters can be found online. It is still being published monthly in Japan manga magazine Bessatsu Margaret (Betsuma).
