Title~ Blank Slate (Japanese= Akusaga)
Author~ Aya Kanno
Publisher~ Shojo Beat/Viz Media
Rating~ OT= Older Teen= age 16+
Genre~ shoujo, action/adventure, bishounen, drama, mystery/suspense
Basic Premise/Basic Plot~ Cool and mysterious Zen is a drop-dead gorgeous guy who makes both men's and women's hearts flutter. But despite his handsome façade, Zen has no soul, no morals and no memories of his past 20 years. (from about.com)

Your Rating for the Artwork~ A
Your Opinion/Review of the Art~ Absolutely gorgeous bishounen artwork, coupled with awesome detail for the finer things (no I can't give examples because I haven't read it in a month or 2).

Your Rating for the Story~ A
Your Opinion/Review of the Story~ It's a little confusing at times because it's one of the ones that kind of starts in the middle and each chapter (in volume 1) has a different side character that Zen meets. And the fact that I've only seen one volume so far makes the whole story a little confusing but overall, it's very well done and I definitely love owning it and want to read more. Damn the fact that I can't find it on any scanlation sites since I also can't find it in stores.

Suggested for people who like~ (I can only guess based on what I've read) Battle Royale, Black Cat, manga with violence done by sexy bishounen, with a bit of mystery thrown in

She needs to find out who she is, why she has been sent to Tokyo, and sort out the mystery of the heart-shaped box she carries. She meets Kent, a young man who offers her his home, his friendship, and possibly more.

Your Rating for the Artwork: [A through F] A
Your Opinion/Review of the Art: The most well-drawn manga i have ever read. Kujiradou-sempai has the most attention to detail. absolutely top-notch. :3

Your Rating for the Story: [A through F] B
Your Opinion/Review of the Story: It is a great Idea for a story, but sometimes can be hard to follow, and some of the plot seems kind of lazy at times.

Title: .Hack//XXX
Rating: Teen
Genre: Sci-Fi, Action
Basic Premise/Basic Plot: If you've ever played the Mutation series for the PS2 (The older one with Kite.), it's really just a different version of that. If not, you'll want to read the next little bit.

A middle school aged boy starts playing a MMORPG called the world(Kite); due to a friend from IRL (Orca) convincing him to try it. Not too shortly after he logs in, a data corruptions forms a physical (as it can get in an online game) form and attacks Orca. Orca then falls into a coma IRL, Kite receives a rule breaking item and the quest begins!

Along the way Kite gains allies such as Black Rose, a fiery girl who lost her brother the same way Kite lost Orca; Balmung a legendary hero with a love of the game and justice, and a mysterious boy, Cubia.

This is pretty much just about Kite, Balmung and Cubia fighting the Seven Phases of Morgana. (Corruptions or whatnot.)

Your Rating for the Artwork: B+
Your Opinion/Review of the Art: Megan Kikuya draws this manga beautifully, I was pretty impressed. The screen tone was applied in a way that made it very visually attractive, the original CMs were...I still haven't gotten the squealing out of my system to put it simply. The American covers were also very nice, as were the G.U.+ ones.

Your Rating for the Story: C+ to a B at some points.
Your Opinion/Review of the Story: I refuse to spoil anything, but the last few chapters were extremely sad. The whole Human!Cubia thing was pulled off wonderfully. Over all, this is a pretty good adaptation in my opinion. Good on you Kikuya!

Suggested for people who like:
-If you've ever read and enjoyed another .Hack series.
-Not really a graphic Shounen, but pretty Action-y stuff.
-People who are okay with sad/bittersweet endings.
-People who like cute art work with a bit of a serious plot.
