The first dvd, which will contain the first thirteen episodes plus extras is said to be released October 28th. The second dvd will be released at an undisclosed time.

I didn't see any other Ouran threads, so I decided to make my own! I personally consider Ouran to be my all-time favorite manga. Now, if you don't know the story, or need a refresher, you should try Shojo Beat's website, along with Wikipedia. They are good resources!

Also, as you may or may not know, Ouran is supposed to be dubbed in English by Funimation, so it's a goos idea to check there every so often as well. <3

Another site that is helpful is animenewnetwork.com. They have info on both the anime and manga. ^...^

So now, everyone, come on in and enjoy. You can discuss your theories on how it/when it will end, your favorite character(s)/episodes/volumes, your collection thus far, thoughts on the story/art, etc. Just make sure you have a good time~!

I prefered the anime over the manga though since the story just flowed smoother there.
Despite that, I can't say I'm excited nor ready for the Ouran dub.
Nonethless, the manga is pretty good too. I love all the characters especially Tamaki and the Twins. Bisco Hatori's artwork is beautiful too. <3

I'm excited in a way for the dub, because, well I don't really like reading the subs. On the other hand though, I'm wondering about who they're gonna get for the voices and what they're gonna cut out. It concerns me a bit. ^^;;;

W00tness! An Ouran thread! I absolutely LOVE the anime, but I've only read the first manga. Or maybe the second one too *thinks*.... Not quite sure, my friend has so many different manga, tis hard to keep up, so do I for that matter sweatdrop Personally, the twins are my favorite, I LOVE Hikaru. I don't really mind nor care too much about the dubbed version because I honestly don't really like the voice acting on dubbed versions half the time. I much prefer to listen to the Japanese with subtitles, except for Fruits Basket, that's the only one that I listen to in English because I like the voice acting better. Yuki sounds too much like a girl in the Japanese. ANYWAYS, sorry. Off track a little. You know which character that doesn't get too much fame or notice, Nezozawa. *tear* Poor Nekozawa-san! crying Renge bothers me... couldn't say why, but she does. Anyways, the artwork of Bisco Hatori is A-FRICKEN-MAZING!!!! I love Millenium Snow as well.

Yes, unfortunately usually the dubbed doesn't sound much like the japanese version, but I have hope since Funimation got the license. They do pretty good work. ^..^ I noticed that, he is basically just a side-note. =/ Renge scares me... a lot. xDD

I agree 150% about her art, the woman is fantastical. You've read Millenium Snow too? I adore it as well! I just hope she will continue it. Which, if I had to choose between her coming out with a volume of it, or a volume of Ouran, I would pick Ouran fer shure! x333
