For my birthday I got Hot Gimmick volume 1 and 2 of the Vizbig Edition (the one that is all like, "THREE IN ONE, GRAH" ).
And then I went to my local little anime store and got the first two volumes of Wild Adapter (I would have gotten more, but they didn't have volume three, and I didn't want to spend money on four and five if I couldn't get three anywhere else).

If that said what I think it said (but I suspect I misread it), you must've missed her previous post where she didn't get volumes four and five at first because they didn't have volume three. But now it looks like Sheepy has decided to just go ahead with it and get them while she can and order the missing ones (yay~!).

Ah! thank you for find that post. The " If volume number _ is not in why bother with any that come after it " issue. It hard when the plot is good and the store does not have the next one. scream I have been there with Fushigi Yugi and Rurouni Kenshin. Random pulling off the discount table can do that. crying (Can't resist the dealer's room $5 manga tables) So many manga on my list so few tote bags to carry it in.

Zepys: Her works are in monthly, so new volumes come out in Japan roughly every 6-8 months. Or worse. Saiyuki Reload 10 comes out on Oct 24, about 13 months after vol 9 >>;
I'm not sure what her excuse is.

Sorry I am still on my convention indued high! there were $5 manga tables all over,one booth with buy one get one free, and the one booth with a buy 4 get 20% off + an buy 5 get 30% offer. I got to "road test" my newest list and matching spreadsheet and both pass with flying colors. Sadly I need to plan for more spending, find more storege for carrying my mangas home, and not end up needing a three hours soaking out the sore shoulders ( I think I dislocalated both of them ) Oddly I stayed away from the candy for the last two weeks. The convention was one safe but loud party. I had a blast!!! Next year: 50 manga or bust!!!

@ Icecold-512: Whatever convention you're going to, it sounds cool. xd I can never find anything good at my local conventions, the $5 tables always have manga I don't want or already have... How many new books did you get?
