Alright, I finally managed to get a camera! mrgreen My room is very messy, but more importantly-- MANGA! I don't have an official count, but I know I have over 1,000 now. xd



And since that's so far away, here are some close-ups:

That's most of them! I had around 30 (give or take) lent out to friends when I took the pictures, and I totally forgot about an additional bunch of manga/manhwa that are on top of one of the regular bookshelves. sweatdrop

I wish I could fit mine into one photo too ><; But my problem comes not from the size of my collection, but from the size of my room.So small that I can't back away far enough. I'd need a fish-eye lens to even have a chance xD

Yeah, I had to do some pretty creative shooting to get it all in one shot. xd In that picture I'm standing in the far back corner, and up on my bed so I could get the ones at the top. I have a few mistakes where I accidentally cut of the top or sides, but I really wanted it all in one shot... And I think I finally ran out of space. Every other spot of wall in my room is either more bookshelves or my dresser. lol

Zepy... that's beautiful. crying I've always liked that simple shelving that just attaches to the wall, because then it makes your manga look like art. heart

Thank you! redface I think half the fun of collecting is displaying the collection, so I hate when I have to box mine up.

My Dad built the shelves that hang on the wall. And we had some extra boards laying around, so voila, more shelves! And I got the bookcases from Linens 'N Things, I think. It was awesome, I think the store was going out of business, so I got them all 30% off. On the box they're labeled "DVD shelves", but they fit manga just fine~

...except for some Yen Press books, which I didn't get a picture of because they're hanging out on top of one of the other bookshelves. They mess up my nice neat alphabetical system. darn it! xd

Zepys: Agreed, the displaying/organizing is the fun part!
I also use DVD ("media") shelves for a part of my collection, they fit the manga perfectly.
