@ Meowhead : I've got more English translated manga than you, but that's about it. That being said... holy effing crap at your collection.

I think you also have more manhwa than me! I am significantly manhwa deficient. Partially because I started selling a lot of my English translated stuff, and the manhwa took a pretty big hit when I did that. sad

I also have like... a significant portion of Ranma, Maisson Ikkoku, Blade of the Immortal, Battle Angel, Caravan Kidd... well, really, every manga I could get my hands on back in the days when it all came out in flimsy comic format. xd

Not sure if that pushes my English translation collection quite as high as yours, but I'm not as deficient as I look. biggrin

Evilly, since I've gotten in a relationship/engaged/married/turned into a parent, I started hanging out at Borders/Barnes & Nobles and just reading the manga that I own in Japanese to clear up translation stuff. sweatdrop If I bought everything I browsed, my collection would be hayuuuge(r)! xd

You don't have to be rich at all. I'm sure a few of us are, but I certainly am not, and I know that most others aren't either. Many people here have been collecting for way longer than three years. Aside from time, you also need an eye for deals xP There are lots of ways to get manga cheaper than the usual price, but you have to be proactive to find most of these deals.

I already had to move my light novels and what not.

I'm not buying manga for a good two months or so now. I'm saving up to buy the dvd release of Hayate no Gotoku!

I hate how expensive most Del-rey series are in Canada. I usually buy them only at a comic shop that sells at the US price plus exchange rate, or on amazon which has them like 5 bucks cheaper.
