my feelings for him changed back and forth from complete hate to adoration of his intellect and looks. for the latter part, i really wanted him to die for being such a cold-hearted psycho jerk, but then when he did, it made me really sad. overall, he's one of those characters you love and hate at the same time......

^truth. i was totally in love with him for much of the series, even though i was simultaneously sickened by his actions and even his motives. he's like, totally loopy razz but I was still upset when he died.

he is awesome and he and L shud have stayed friends. However, my fandomness for him faded and Mello became my fav character. But I cried when Light died.

I Personally love Light. Im only on the Third Manga, but so far I think that his quest to rid the world of evil is a noble one. I do not like the fact that he has killed some innocent people, like Raye Penber's Fiance, but that is the only thing that has really got me down about him. But other than that, I LOVE LIGHT!

Then again, I am one of the few people who cheered when L died; L was such an overrated piece of s**t. He had no personality, and those little quirks that ALL the fangirls just loved!

Am I the ONLY one who though L was annoying and bland? Honestly, I liked Mello and Near quite a bit better.
