currently up to the lastest chapter in the manga.
I LOVE the series C:

am i the only one who thinks that the art is just above average? i mean the story is interesting but the art doesnt surprise me

in terms of quality i agree.
but i personally love the art style.

I find the manga to be enjoyable and entertaining. Do I think it is a perfect masterpiece? No, it is flawed, and rough around the edges; despite that, it is still entertaining, and I will gladly read it week to week.

Bakuman is so great. It is really interesting to learn what my beloved mangakas go through, more or less. Plus it's silly and dramatic enough to just be so fun. Also, who doesn't love Obata-sensei's style?? This and Death Note were beautiful as we all should know!

Very good manga, and also very inspiring. And also, illustrated by my favorite artist. It puts the manga industry in a whole different perspective.

I applaud the studio for going about the anime in a most convenient and obvious direction. Because Bakuman has a certain season off, the manga will have plenty of plot for the anime to feed off of so there will be no overlapping. At least that is what I hope they'll continue to keep up.

I am very excited about Bakuman! I love the characters, especially Nizuma, Hiramaru, and Fukuda. heart heart Actually just finished reading vol 8 and now I'm working on acquiring the rest.
