Why in the world does everyone like Suigintou the best?

She's kind of the villain, and she's not even a sympathetic character until you watch Ouvreture, which didn't come out until after the 2nd season aired, but even that knowledge doesn't completely justify all of the horrible things she does. For example, in volume 4 of the manga, she steals a rosa mystica instead of earning it through combat, which is how the Alice Game is supposed to work. Alice is supposed to be the perfect girl, and if a doll has to lie, cheat, and steal her way to become Alice, then doesn't this mean the perfect woman is liar, a cheater, and a thief?

My gf likes her the best only because of her outfit, but only cos she doesn't care that much about the story. If that's the reason Suigintou is as popular as she is, her fans are pretty shallow.

Suigintou is very popular, but she only became evil because of something in the past but honestly after what Shinku did. Suigintou shouldn't be pulling all she got on Shinku the most.

I have always been a Sugintou fan... I admit when i first watched the series... I thought she was a b*tch but with ouverture i realised how lonely she must feel... I found her to be quite an interesting character... like the bad guy who was forced into that role...

That and I just love the bad girls in anime... haha always have wink 4laugh

Honestly, Hinaichigo annoyed the crap out of me when she was first introduced. She was such a prissy, spoiled, little ME!-ME!-ME! doll in the second episode that I wanted to slap her. But, she quickly redeems herself and really starts to grow on you.

I think of all the characters in the series, she changes the most throughout the series. Even Tomoe comments on this in the episode where Hina is trying to deliver the letter.

Right now she's probably my 2nd favorite (right behind Suiseiseki, of course).
