Welcome to Gaia! ::

Beauty even greater than the sun

I usually lament at my life when I see my manga shelves. I have a few tasteless titles that I can't bear to get rid of anyways, but mostly it's just stuff I love to death, like Godchild and Petshop Of Horrors. Damn, I need to stop spending so much on stuff I don't even like very well though!

... Much too pretty to live
Way, way, way too many regrets. DX

- Prince of Tennis Vol. 1-6 >> It was a good series, but I lost interest in it fairly quickly. I'm not too upset about these though; my brother was fond of it, so I just gave them to him.

-Fullmetal Alchemist >> I have a few volumes floating around, and while I still think it is a great series, I lost interest in collecting.

-Beyblade Vol. something >> No. Just...no.

- Yami no Matsuei Vol. something >> Took me all of two seconds to get bored of it. So yeah, wish I hadn't spent my money on that.
I read the first volume of Demon Diary from my (was once) boyfriend. I didn't like it, it was too confusing for me, and so I told my boyfriend.

When he forgot my birthday, he apologized and handed me my late gift... 1st Volume of Demon Diary... even though I told him I didn't like it.

It sat on my self, collecting space, dust, and matter on my shelf, and I was no longer with my boyfriend. Just before I was going to hand it to my mother to sell it on Ebay a few months ago, a friend of mine said she'd take it off my hands, since all her manga was back in her hone of Pittsburgh, and so I got rid of it.

@ -Summer Cherries-: It's okay about your thoughts on Beyblade, I loved the anime, yet the manga was HORRIBLE. Never even bought it.

i don't have many but the only ones i would get rid of would be the kingdom hearts manga i got them since i like kingdom hearts but they were just like the game the only part about them that were all that interesting to me now is the comics in the back there are theses little 4? pannal stories about the charecters

Laili: you migh like angel diary its by the same person who wrote demon diary but i started to read demon diary and soon lost intrest but with angel diary it was soo awsome here is what its about:

princess of heaven doen;t want to marry the king of hell so she runs away to the humman world and pretends to be a boy and The four guardians of heaven come to look for her and bring her back to haven. its interesting and the cover art of each volume is awsome
Ceres - The first few were really interesting but as the series went on it got increasingly boring. I made it to vol. 10 before I finally gave up short of the finishing line XD

Miyuki-chan in wonderland - Nothing but fan service garbage. I read the back and saw it was from Clamp and you know... actually expected it to be good. This was when I was young and ignorant and didn't flip through books before buying -_-;;

Ouran Host Club vol. 5 - Accidentally wasted ten bucks on a book I already owned. gonk

Besides that I don't have regrets. I just wish I could get my wasted money back for the above.

Series I want to send to the trash bin... I mean, return box:

- Kill Me Kiss Me vol. 2

(It was such a friggin' let down! Gah! The first one was relatively okay, with the sexuallity crisis and what have you, but what happened here?)

- Tokyo Babylon vol. 1

(Good, classic CLAMP read... but I can't believe I threw away ten bucks for one zip-through.)

- Peach Girl: Change of Heart vol. 1

(NOT my type of manga. That's what I get for being a conformist.)

- Gamerz Heaven vol. 1-2

(Sigh. Maki Murakami-Gravitation-stage.)

- Deathnote vol. 1-4

(Jesus those guys thinks too much.)
Oh,Kill me Kiss me vol.2 was a BIG dissapointmet for me,I liked the first olume and thought it could end up funny and then they change main characters and everything!? <_<

Bleach Vol 1-2: I lost interest in Bleach after a little while, so this was money I could have spent elsewhere (and if a series has more than 15 volumes it better be mind-blowingly awesome, I just didn't feel that way about Bleach)

The Demon Ororon Vol 1: I bought this like two years ago before I had any idea they would make an omnibus with all four volumes. I ordered the omnibus, which was cheaper than buying the last 3 volumes separately, and now I guess I'll just give this lone volume away to a friend.

FLCL Vol 1: I like the anime so much I rushed out to get this, but it just fell short of my expectations.

And a round for manga I bought, lent to people, and never saw again so I may as well have not bought them at all: The Dreaming 1 and Rave Master 1.

xD Rave Master.

Luckily, I bought the FLCL DVDs for lesser-than-normal prices, and got the second one as a gift. They could do better than two-per-disc... but it's better than Japan's rip-off: they sell them episode-per-disc. ;P Six expensive DVDs. Sheesh.

The feeling you have for Bleach is what I have for Naruto. Man... I lose interest in Shounen so easily.

Yes, Rave Master. XD I was pretty indiscriminate as a kid, I would buy whatever sounded or looked cool. Apparently I hadn't yet figured out how to use the internet for reviews.
In fact, most of my regrets are from years ago when I had a lot of impulse buys.

I was so pissed when I heard that was how they were releasing FLCL. burning_eyes Now I just pray AS shows it every once in a while because I've yet to throw down the money to get it on DVD.

I used to like Bleach and Naruto a lot, but I went into "shounen exhaustion". I'm wondering if I should give D.Grayman a whirl or if I would experience the same thing.

Let Dai
The Eunhyung story arc really angered me. (I'm not sure how it gets resolved).
I only bought the first 4 volumes, then I gave them to a friend.
I think it has 15 volumes, so I'm glad I stopped where I did.

Big O
I wanted this series to be awesome.
I bought the first 2 volumes.
It's not drawn anything like the series.
It's messy.
At least the anime rocks, and I'm never getting rid of that.

They made it all about the police and CIA and the other law enforcement organizations after a while.
I wanted more Rem and Ryuk!
The focus always gets taken away from them, even though they are the coolest characters.

My collection is pretty tiny, but even still there are a few things I regret buying.

FLCL Vol 1: I like the anime so much I rushed out to get this, but it just fell short of my expectations.

I know how you feel!
I looked at it because I was interested in buying it.
After I saw how it was drawn, I put it back on the shelf.
I wasn't going to buy something that was drawn so shoddily.

I could forgive the art style since that's how that dude draws (I think he did something called Q-ko) but it was even harder to follow than the anime and a lot of it seemed like "weird s**t for the sake of weird s**t".

None really. I stopped reading Negima, but that was merely because a more interesting series at the time caught my attention.
