Bleach Vol 1-2: I lost interest in Bleach after a little while, so this was money I could have spent elsewhere (and if a series has more than 15 volumes it better be mind-blowingly awesome, I just didn't feel that way about Bleach)
The Demon Ororon Vol 1: I bought this like two years ago before I had any idea they would make an omnibus with all four volumes. I ordered the omnibus, which was cheaper than buying the last 3 volumes separately, and now I guess I'll just give this lone volume away to a friend.
FLCL Vol 1: I like the anime so much I rushed out to get this, but it just fell short of my expectations.
And a round for manga I bought, lent to people, and never saw again so I may as well have not bought them at all: The Dreaming 1 and Rave Master 1.
xD Rave Master.
Luckily, I bought the FLCL DVDs for lesser-than-normal prices, and got the second one as a gift. They could do better than two-per-disc... but it's better than Japan's rip-off: they sell them episode-per-disc. ;P Six expensive DVDs. Sheesh.
The feeling you have for Bleach is what I have for Naruto. Man... I lose interest in Shounen so easily.
Yes, Rave Master. XD I was pretty indiscriminate as a kid, I would buy whatever sounded or looked cool. Apparently I hadn't yet figured out how to use the internet for reviews.
In fact, most of my regrets are from years ago when I had a lot of impulse buys.
I was so pissed when I heard that was how they were releasing FLCL.
burning_eyes Now I just pray AS shows it every once in a while because I've yet to throw down the money to get it on DVD.
I used to like Bleach and Naruto a lot, but I went into "shounen exhaustion". I'm wondering if I should give D.Grayman a whirl or if I would experience the same thing.
