Welcome to the YDA Charity's Cat Evolving Item Raffle!

We'll be raffling off some EI's that have cat poses in them to support and advertise Your Destiny Awaits Charity for Kitty Questers. All gold earned here will go towards the charity, but we're not looking to make a profit. We want to give lots of people an opportunity to have some fun and possibly win some goodies!

Rules
*Above all, follow Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules & Guidelines. Breaking any of them will disqualify you from the raffle without a refund and may possibly get you reported depending on severity.
*Breaking any rules (whether thread's or Gaia's) will at least get you blacklisted here and you will not be able to participate in the raffle. Any purchased slots will be not be refunded.
*Each mini-contest has it's own specific rules. Be sure to read over all of them as well.
*You can do multiple contests in one post. i.e. Bump, RNG, and/or page contests all in one..
*Be nice, respectful, and have fun!
*If you win one of the mini-contests, please PM or quote me so that I don't miss it.
*EASY on the chat speech. Over-usage of emotes or 'tlk1ng lyk dis iz cul' is not cool.
*EASY on the quote towers as well. Please collapse around 3 or 4 quotes.
*All raffle inquiries should be posted in this thread. If you absolutely have to PM someone, refer to this account, Your_Destiny_Awaits. Anything directed to my main account via PM will be ignored.

How much do slots cost?
You can buy up to 10 slots for 500g each.
Please send a trade labeled "raffle" to me to buy slots. If you want to buy more than 10, there will be a few opportunities in the future for the slot limit to be bumped up.
Otherwise, you can earn slots for free by joining in the many mini-contests available during the raffle.

I can get free slots?
Yes. You'll likely earn most of your slots through a variety of small games.

So where are these mini-contests and how do I join?
The current available mini-contests are after the list of slots. More games will be added as the raffle progresses. You just read the rules of each game and do as it says whether it's posting in the thread or PMing me with results.

What "Big" contests are going on right now?
Scramble the letters in 'feline' and 'kitten' to make new words!

How many slots will there be?
There are an unlimited number of slots, but the true deadline for the raffle will be decided after at least 500 slots are filled (whether bought or earned). The raffle will likely take a few months.

What's the info for the Mini Lotto?
The Mini Lotto is towards the very bottom. Prizes will vary with different cat items worth 500g-5k and chances to win slots in the main EI raffle. Slots there are cheap and should fill quickly. Current prize is a Cat Band.

-In order to qualify, be sure not to go spamming around people's threads/PMs - be aware of their rules.
-Recruited user must mention your username in a post, trade, or PM to say that you referred them. Recruited user must win or buy at least one slot.
-Free slots will be awarded after that.
*Get up to 2 free slots for advertising the raffle in your sig for a week.
-Display banner or text link in your sig. YDA will be watching.

This contest is only good on the Weekends! Themes available will only be added during that time.

*Get a free slot in the raffle just by posting an lolcat image!
-Every weekend (Fri-Sun) will be a special Caturday where we get to "spam" the thread with funny cat pictures.
-Any images posted Monday-Thursday will not count at all!
-But first, a few guidelines:
--You can post a link or the actual image, but don't post an image that is over 750x750, please.
--Each person can only earn 1 slot each weekend. Any additional images posted will be for fun only.
--Below is a list of themes for you to find. When you post an image, tell me what theme it fits and you'll get a free spot, and then I'll cross that theme off of the list.
--You cannot use a theme that has been crossed off.
--You can find images from I Can Has Cheezburger, make your own image with their lol builder, Meowcheese, ROFLCAT, or do a Google/Yahoo search.
--I do ask that you refrain from direct-linking to any site that is not I Can Has Cheezburger, Meowcheese, Rolfcat, or Gaia. If you do find an image through a web search, please temporarily save the image to your own host and link me there. The Cat's Out of the Bag!

Find words within the words “Feline” and “Kitten”!

Using the words above, scramble all of the letters up to create new words. For example, Feline has the word “I” in it, so bam! you've got a point already. Together, you can make the word "fit" – so keep looking and see how many words you can come up with! There's over 100 of them! Can you find the longest words?

Prizes!
*Earn 1 slot for every ten (10) words you find.
*(And) Earn 75g for every one word that you can find.
*(And) Earn 1 slot and a Cat Collar (color of your choice) if you find at least one of the words with the most letters.

1) How do we know that this raffle is "valid"? Can we trust Your_Destiny_Awaits?
YDA Charity and its owner have been around Gaia for over 5 years. The charity has run 2 successful raffles within the charity thread that used a Coco Plushie as the main prize. My main has also held a raffle for a complete 2008 Letter Set. All prizes were given out in each raffle.

2) Can I pick which slots I want?
No. The next available slot(s) will be given to you.

3) Are there any additional prizes besides the raffle items?
Yes! Some contests will include gold or small cat items as prizes. Just keep an eye out for them.

4) What generation are the Evolving Items?
All of them are 1st gens.

5) Do I have to buy the "max" number of slots at the same time?
No, you don't. You can buy only 1 and then buy more later if you'd like.

You could win a random cat item (worth 500g-5k) and slots for the EI raffle!

*Slots in this mini-lotto cost only 50g.
*You can buy up to four (4) slots max.
