Yes that does seem strange since this lottery was more or less sponsored on the front page of gaia, so...all those that approved it ought to give us our money back.

Let's look at the math.

50'000 x 300 = 15'000'000

5'000'000 + 3'000'000 + 1'000'000 + 100'000 = 9'100'000

15'000'000 - 9'100'000 = 5'900'000

That is WAYYYY too much gold and the threshold of the prizes are too narrow, he was walking away with more than the first place prize.

He intended it to be a scam from the beginning.
