Due to the volume of scams using user-wrapped giftboxes, these are no longer tradeable through the bank.
Users can still wrap items to send to their friends using the sending feature that comes with wrapping. However, you will no longer be able to send these through the bank yourself.

This does not include Gaia giftboxes such as the pink, blue, or brown magical giftboxes, or any event giftboxes from Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc.

Please remember to always be cautious when trading with another user. If someone asks you to send them gold or items FIRST and they will send you something later it may be a scam. If you do not trust the user or know them, then do not do it. It is not always a scam to ask for payment first, however if you do not know the user or trust them, then just don't do it.

If the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is so don't do it. If someone is offering to give you a very expensive item for a little bit of gold or items then it is very likely a scam. If the user is honestly wishing to give you an expensive item for a cheap item they can unwrap the item and send it via bank. If the trade seems fishy it probably is. Legit players don't use fishy methods to give you items!

DO NOT TRUST PEOPLE WHO SAY THE BANK/GIFT FEATURE/THEIR COMPUTER IS GLITCHY. - If someone tells you that the bank, gift feature, or their computer is glitchy so you won't be able to see the item/giftbox, or that they cannot send it a certain way, this is a lie so tell them to wait until they can. Do not accept one-sided trades if the agreement is for them to send you something as well.

Because of this change; users auctioning/selling giftboxes, or holding giftbox lottos are no longer permitted. Since these are no longer tradeable through the bank these are no longer allowed. Users who already had lottos/auctions set up will either need to refund users who have already paid you (such as with lottos), or unwrap the gifts and use something like the random number generator to decide who gets what gift.

- If you see new threads pop up selling/auctioning/lotto'ing giftboxes, please report it so that we can properly remove the thread.
- If older threads doing this do not resolve the giftbox issue themselves after a short while please report the thread so a Moderator can handle it.

If you have been scammed by a user; please report them to the Report a Scamming form with all necessary information.
