Welcome to the Rules. It sucks having them, but they are a necessary evil. Please keep in mind that all of these rules also apply to each of the contests/games that are being held. IF there are additional rules for any of those sections, they will be listed at the top of that post. PLEASE READ THESE RULES BEFORE YOU START POSTING OR PLAYING. Each person will receive ONE FREEBIE. That is all.

THE MAIN RULE OF THIS THREAD

It's an unfortunate circumstance, but there are some regulations we have to impose to ensure the stability of our thread. They are as follows:
*You MUST have a public profile with your join date viewable.
*You MUST be a member on Gaia for at least 2 months.
*You MUST have at least 100 posts prior to coming here and asking for a donation or winning any prizes. (However, feel free to stick around and chat until you've met this requirement.. wink we won't bite!)
*Mules will NOT be tolerated. Trust us. We aren't fools. We can smell a mule from a mile away. (..in this case, we WILL bite. Hard.)

THREAD RULES CONTINUED:

A* You MUST follow Gaia's ToS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
B* There will be absolutely NO flaming, trolling, fighting, spamming, or harassment of any kind tolerated within this thread---
*** Posts consisting solely of EMOTICONS will be considered SPAMMING. Absolutely NO PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN TO ANYONE WHO BREAKS THIS RULE.
*** One word posts that have absolutely no relevance to the thread or anything going on in it will also NOT be tolerated. THIS INCLUDES BUMPING. Conversation is required. If there's no one to talk to, comment on avis you see or anything like that.. but NO SPAMMING THE THREAD WITH NONSENSE POSTS!
C* DO NOT quote any part of the first page.
D* AVOID MASSIVE QUOTE TOWERS. They take up space and make it difficult for us to follow contest posts.
E* Please be literate when posting. Keep swwearing to a minimum. Be respectful of fellow thread family/friends. Avoid contraversial and offensive topics.

EACH PERSON IS DIFFERENT FROM THEIR BACKGROUNDS TO THEIR AGE TO THEIR RACE, RELIGION, AND OPINIONS. WHEN WE ARE DEALING WITH A SETTING SUCH AS THIS(on the internet) IT IS SO EASY FOR PEOPLE TO TAKE POSTS THE WRONG WAY. TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT EACH OF US HAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERCEPTION, SENSE OF HUMOR, WAY OF COMMUNICATING. IF WE ALL CAN BE AWARE OF THESE DIFFERENCES EACH DAY THE PROBLEMS SHOULD BE NON-EXISTENT.

HI EVERYONE!!!

Sorry for my absence... life has been CRAZY!! I am taking a little hiatus from Gaia for the next couple months while i lose myself in my family and GETTING MARRIED!!! It's finally happening after 7 tumultuous years! August 18, 2012 I will FINALLY be marrying the man who's been my rock through some of the hardest times. I couldn't be happier.

I will continue to miss you all.. but I promise I'll be back when things calm down.. and may even surprise you all from time to time with random visits and those silly little head-bopping gift fairies.. xp
