Welcome to Las Vegas Casino Royale aka; Lvcr!

One of the first casinos on gaia, Las vegas casino royale opened April 3rd, 2009 and was created by Ama. In time, Lvcr has seen it's fair share of love, laughter, and friendship, but; like all good things, it came to a slow stop. As of Aug. 14th, 2010; Lvcr went on a closed/hiatus status. But now, as of August 2011, the plotting of Las vegas casino royale's return had began! Thus leading us up-to date and the return of Lvcr!

As of now, we're no longer accepting exceptions list requests, under any circumstances. Due to the recent bannings and scammings, we're not taking any chances. Any and all pm's regarding this matter sent to the mule will be declined.

The Basics

✓ Like anywhere on Gaia, you must follow the Terms of Service.
✓ In order to bet you must have at least 1000 posts, bumps DO NOT count, and be a member of Gaia for no less than 3 months.
✓ Test forum posts do not count towards the required amount of posts needed to bet.
✓ All bets should use the Random Number Generator, unless stated otherwise.

✓ Please refrain from spamming and bumping this thread, especially when it’s active.
✓ Be sure to keep your quote trees to no more than 5, they can crowd up our screen and make it agitating for fellow betters!
✓ Do not beg any users for their items! No one likes this </3
✓ Do not start any thread drama. Respect your fellow betters and they will respect you!
✓ Be sure to listen to and respect the staff. We’re here to make your betting experience the best it can be.
✓ Also be sure not to generate numbers unless you’re in a bet. This can get confusing for other betters!
✓Don’t be afraid to approach staff if you have a question! We don’t bite, and we love chatting just as much as you do! <3
✓ Double posting is common, but deleting posts is absolutely prohibited. You may edit your post if you feel it necessary, or if a staff members asks it of you.
✓ Deleting a post while not in a bet may subject you to a short probation depending on the post and it's contents. No arguing with the staff. Deleting posts after being warned multiple times subjects you to being placed on the Black List.
✓ If you are required to use or want a Middle Man (MM), you must choose one from the MM list near the bottom of the page. No other people are accepted unless deemed otherwise by LVCR staff.
✓ If something comes up in the thread, such as a user not meeting requirements or things of the sort, and a staff member is already handling that, members do not get involved, at all. If they do, it will result in the user(s) being probated or blacklisted.
✓ Users are NOT to go to other users if a problem comes up in the casino. If there is a problem, you are to contact a STAFF MEMBER. It causes a lot of unnecessary drama when members that aren't on staff try to handle things they are not allowed to handle in the casino. Any members caught doing so will be probated or blacklisted.
✓ Users should refrain asking people for bets when they are not offering them. Residence in the casino does not call for mandatory betting. We are an open community. The option to posts offers for bets is limited to ONCE PER PAGE. On the same note, asking for bets on items that people have equipped is NOT ALLOWED either. Repeated offense will result in the user being probated or blacklisted.

Betting

✓ If you are going to bet, you need to have the gold or items on your CURRENT account. There will be no sending from mules or another account. If what you are betting is NOT on your current account, you are not to bet it unless you transfer it over BEFORE you bet.
✓ It is important that all bets are to be confirmed before any rolling starts.
✓ Please do not use ‘Roll to Confirm’ unless speaking to a specific better. This will cut down on any betting confusion.
✓ Be sure to participate in only one bet at a time. (This includes other threads)
✓ Practice rolling in other threads(including the test forum) during or right before a bet is prohibited.
✓ Bets may only be voided by staff members. If a staff member ( Owner, Mod, or MIT) is not available, members are welcome to stall the bet until it can properly be voided.
✓ Make sure you only bet what you’re absolutely sure you’ll be ok with losing. We hate to see users get upset and quit when they lose a large bet.
✓ If you lose a bet, you have 15 minutes to send the allotted amount. We understand things can come up, but please don’t let the winner sweat it out.
✓ If you lose a bet you must send trade to the winner before starting another bet.
✓On item bets, if LMP or ABP isnt specified in the terms, it is automatically assumed as LMP.
✓ Be sure to send winnings in a trade, and not through the gifting system.
✓ We do not tolerate scamming in our casinos, and any users caught scamming will be both blacklisted from Vegas as well as reported immediately to a Gaia Moderator. We’re all here to have fun, don’t ruin it for us!
✓ If you tie, please confirm with your betting partner whether you want to re-roll for the bet or call it off. Any re-rolls unconfirmed will not be counted!
✓ Double Posting: If this occurs during a bet, only your first roll will count. No exceptions! NO DELETING POSTS. If you are caught deleting a post while in a bet, you will be automatically Black Listed.
✓ If at any time a staff member feels like a user could be suspicious, they may require them to use a middle man.
✓ Coin flip terms are not allowed.
✓ Countdown terms is the first person to reach one or two unless stated differently at the beginning of the bet. At no time may it be the first person to reach one.
✓ If you are betting another person and you lost, but are suspicious as to them actually having the gold to bet with, you may ask a LVCR staff member, or a Middle Man to request the other better to prove they have the full amount in a trade. This will ensure that the person was proposing a fair and legitimate bet. If the other person fails to comply, they do not receive the winnings from the bet. They have 24 hours to show they had the said amount before losing their winnings and being put on probation. Abuse of this rule will not be tolerated. A moderator may state that the person does not need to be checked and is trusted.
✓ If you are in a bet with someone and they need to go, you can either void or stall the bet. Voiding the bet will result in it being over. Stalling the bet means that once the other person comes back, the bet will continue until there is a winner. If the bet is stalled, the person who stalled it has 24 hours to come back and complete the bet otherwise the bet is voided. - The rule is SUSPENDED until further notice.
✓ While quoting has been known as a large courtesy during bets, it is not required. Attempting to void bets because someone didn't quote a user will result in the user facing probation or being blacklisted.
✓ "Emo rolling" will not be tolerated. Nobody likes it when you make them feel bad for winning. If you're afraid to lose, don't bet.
✓Begging the RNG to give you good rolls repeatedly, gets annoying and can make the person you're betting with feel bad.  You may be put on probation if it gets out of hand. this is just a less obvious way of "emo rolling."
✓ Giftbacks are a common courtesy among betters. Most members, after a bet, will give 10% of their winnings back to the person they were betting against that lost. However, while giftbacks are a courtesy, they are not required. Any members caught saying they're required or complaining about a giftback will be given a warning, or probated.. Continual offenses will result in the user being blacklisted.
✓ Art that was betted must be completed and sent to the winner within 5 days (Unless you agree upon an extended time frame) failure to do so will get the user blacklisted.

Dear Brandon,
It seems that we must all face a time in our lives where we are forced to do things we never wish to actually pull through on. In this case, Katie and I find ourselves sitting in front of blank documents trying to figure out how to tell you how much life has changed since we both were guided by some higher force into Las Vegas Casino Royale and found it in our hearts to stay as long as we have. Beyond this principle, there is a deep need to let you know how your footsteps and the tracks you laid within the coding of not only this casino, but in the coding of our souls, we were changed as people. We stopped being individuals and we became family.
We write this for you, not just on Katie's behalf, or on my own, nor the rest of the staff's, but on behalf the entire community that has united under the name Las Vegas Casino Royale. We believe you have no idea how much you truly meant and will always mean to us. Some of us may have never gotten the chance to bond with you, laugh with you, or see how absolutely wonderful you are as a person, but at least from the staff perspective, you were the man behind the plan. You were the reason LVCR faced its hardships with strength and prosper. You are the reason she bloomed once again. You are the reason so many of us have been given the opportunity to make her our home.
Your work out of these walls for the products presented within them will not go on unheard or forgotten, Brandon. On behalf of the present owners of Las Vegas Casino Royale at the time this is being written, we give you our promise to continue to make good use of the knowledge you have graced us with. We began as mere members of the community and we have been polished and shined by your experience. In times of hardships, we were there to help you pave a new path for our baby. But, keeping everything we've mentioned in mind, we refuse to let you become a part of the history of LVCR.
What we mean to say is, you are Las Vegas Casino Royale's past, you are helped form her present, and you will be there to witness her future as you deem possible. We want you to know that we, and the rest of the community, welcome you with open arms when you get the chance to visit. You will always be a member of the staff as far as we are concerned. You are beyond staff. You are beyond the titles we could place upon what you've done for us. Your sacrifice has become part of our history as individual Gaians. Only Accepted MM's can MM bets, those whom are not accepted MM's that perform the duties of an MM are subject to probation and Blacklisting.

What is a MM?

A middleman, or MM for short, are used for larger bets or are also used for people you don't believe you can trust, or are afraid they may scam you. Most of the time, it's up to you whether or not you use a MM. However, mods and admins may issue a MM if they feel it is necessary, or wary of the bet you are about to do.
You and the person you are betting will send what you are betting(gold and/or items) to the selected middleman, which is a moderator of trusted middleman. The trades will be completed, then the middleman will announce that both trades are complete, and tell you to begin the bet. YOU DO NOT BEGIN THE BET UNTIL THE MIDDLEMAN SAYS YOU CAN.
Once the bet is finished, the middleman will send the winnings to the winner. Giftbacks are sent separately. Occasionally, people tip their middleman, but its NOT REQUIRED, as it is their JOB to middleman.

Raffle ticket costsk per ticket (So a maximum of k per entrant.)
In order to purchase a raffle ticket, you must be somewhat regular in the LVCR Casino.
There is a limit of 4 raffle tickets per person. (Including mules.) If the slots aren't full by Friday, we will allow you to buy another slot.

If you want to purchase a ticket for the raffle, send a trade to "Las Vegas Casino Royale" labeled "One ticket, slot # __" or "Two tickets, slot # __."

If you do not label the trade accordingly, we will assume it is a donation! Or we will pick your slot! So be sure to double-check.
There are 20 spots in the raffle: first come, first serve.
Winner will be determined by the RNG (1-20.)
The raffle drawing will take place after all the slots are filled.
Those caught cheating (via mule or otherwise) will be disqualified with no refund of the ticket purchase(s) and blacklisted from the LVCR Casino.
There are no refunds for raffle tickets.
Whining due to loss is not tolerated--just like betting, you stand a chance of losing. Don't make the winner feel bad for winning.
