This is Gaia Radio Presents “Gaia Idol” I’m your host Broadcaster Zink giving you the load down on
everything going on behind the scenes and on stage. Of course if you have not heard of me, you will
tonight, tomorrow, and the next couple weeks as we will hear you the audience at home sing it out
for a chance to be Gaia Radio’s GAIA IDOL! So sit back, drink up, belt out, and sing your heart out.
The show is starting.... Are you ready?

We search all across the world of Gaia looking for the most talented and the most compassionate
artist for the chance to win 5 million gold and the chance to become a true Gaia Idol. With this
much gold at stake you know the judges are going to have to think long and hard about this.
Audition process are on their ways and are expected to get around in the thousand range of young
and old hopefuls. After that the judges will narrow it down to the final set of competitors.

Then you Gaia will get to vote each round till we are down to the final two. Who will be the first Gaia
Radio own Gaia Idol? Will it be you?

I highly suggest before you ask ANY question to read everything on the front page. It will answer most if not all your questions.

In the rules it states that auditions must be solos, does that mean that we must only sing by ourselves, or does it also exclude one person singing multiple parts and played at the same time? (like this for example)

Auditions will be solo, no duets meaning with another person. You can be one person singing multiple parts BUT if it sounds like two different people it will be disqualified.

How long should my audition tape be?

Well we don't want anything under 30 seconds or over 5 minutes. So somewhere in between there would be great!

Zombilious

Zom is the Founder and Direct of Gaia Radio (so a shoe in for being a judge!). For her own musical talent, she has played the guitar, violin and piano. As for her singing voice, she loves to sing but wouldn't be the top winner for Gaia Idol! However, she does know the good from the bad. Good luck to everyone and may Gaia Idol be the best!

Twilight Afternoon

This is Twilight Afternoon. She is the head broadcaster and the co director of Gaia Radio. With her backgrounds in both Dance (8 years) and theater (5 years) she knows a thing or two about the music. What she expect to hear out of the Gaians out there is a sense of story and passion coming out. If she doesn’t hear it. you’ll be sure hear it from her. Wishing the best of luck to those hopefuls and many more who wish to stick around.

As for all Auditions you must follow the "Rules and Guidelines" given below and fill out the form.
Auditions will be held from July 1st to July 25th.
Example Audition Tape

★ Rules and Guidelines

All entries must have accreditation of music and lyrics EVEN if it is your own
You may sing foreign music and opposite gender songs
All entries must be post in this thread using the application below
All entries must be either MP3 or YouTube submissions, no MP4s please
Entries are allowed to have background music
All entries are allowed to have harmony background
All entries must be SOLO, no duets
Do not auto-tune, if we suspect it you will be disqualified
Please allow a week for your application to be proceeded
There is no required theme for these entries
Please do not spam our inbox with questions, post them in the thread

This challenge will test your skill in the knowledge of musicals!
For Challenge One you must follow the "Rules and Guidelines" given below and fill out the form.
Challenge One will be held from August 1st to August 14th.

All entries must have accreditation (ie title and artist) spoken in entry
All entries must be post in this thread using the application below
All entries must be either MP3s, no MP4s please
All entries must be downloadable (4share, mediafire, etc), no YouTube please!

The Next Round we went to the streets of Broadway why don't we take a short cut through US ROUTE 66. The Songs of many Grandparents/Parents/now? listen to as they go and explore what Route 66 had to offer.

We've traveled from Broadway to the famous Route 66 and some how took a detour to
the one hill with the big sign labeled "Hollywood". So why not our final five go a
little star searching. I got plenty of celebrity estate maps.

Every 10 pages I will post a clue to a song and everyone has to try and guess it first! Whoever guesses first wins a point. If no one figures it out within a day another clue will be given. When Gaia Idol is over the points will be tallied up and the top three will win a prize!
