sok...i was just in a down place last night.
just had the last 2 days off and did absolutely nothing
except sleep and watch things on netflix.
i couldnt go anywhere even if i wanted to cause my mom had my car
till she got home from work at 5pm.
the 3 friends i have here in my hometown are always working
when i have off and they never want to go out when they aren't.
i have tomorrow and sunday off as well and everything that I wanted
to do has been pushed aside for what my friends want to do.
im just tired of it. im stuck in a place in my life that i dont want to be
anymore and i have no way or money to get out of it

im really tempted to ask my gparents if i can move in with them again just
to escape and be somewhere where my friends actually do things, but i love my job here to much.
and its not like i dont love my friends here, i do, but playing board games and watching episodes of supernatural and dr. quinn and other 10 year old shows is getting boring.
i want to go out. go to a bar. have a couple of drinks, dance, flirt, meet new people.

I mean, I know people have lives outside of Gaia, and they're more important, but if you're going to make a game show, in my opinion you should be organized and know what's going on. . .
The first one I was in didn't even get finished.
I feel like in a way this is almost pointless. Everyone's just dropping out, and no one even posts anymore.

All of those points are correct.

But the way I see it is that it makes it easier for the dedicated people and makes it a cakewalk for the people who turn things in on time.

But that's thinking from a competitive/strategic motive.

Thinking from a quality motive, it's unfair that contestants have to wait just because of disorganization.

And if this show does not finish because of the contest organizers, well too bad so sad.

It's a gamble.

Yeah I guess, but it's no fun having barely any competition.
Like, the only competition I see here is you and Masten.
But I haven't seen anyone else's work so that might be a bit unfair.

I feel the same but it's common sense it would have ended up like this.

Reality Shows thrived on the front page spot light and without that they have to rely on people waltzing into the Lotto/money games forum and this forum isn't filled with people who could do competition.

Reality shows/Game shows have just lost it's sparkle.

I agree that reality shows are suffering from the lack of spotlighting. I don't even have to go into any others to see the difference between GGR and GGR2. HOPEFULLY this new Gaia Blog thing on the front page will eventually help do something about that... I don't know for sure. It's not the same as spotlighting. It depends on whether people pay attention, and it may gradually attract more views as people discover it does have interesting stuff... if it has interesting stuff... Just don't know. I can hope.

By the way, congrats on your latest victory!

Maybe you should try like, really pushing the idea of going out somewhere to your friends?
I probably shouldn't be talking though, because I never do anything with my friends except band if that even really counts.
Or, you could move in with your grandparents and try to find a job like the one you have now?
Or you could just ignore this and do whatever makes you happy because I'm only 16 and I can't drive and I just sit at school & my computer all day long.
