Well, it WOULD be coolio, but given that we haven't heard of anything concerning the spotlight, we may have to begin without it. At the moment, we only have 19 applicants out of the original 30 passengers planned. Another problem is that without the spotlight, we have limited funding. 200,000 has been donated and 75,000 was spent on the art on page one. We only have 125,000 gold. That might be enough to cover the consolation prizes. We're nowhere near having the 2million for first prize.

If we're gonna start this, spotlight or not, we need 2 things: people and money. If anyone can suggest a good charity thread that has the capacity to fork over 2million, great. If anyone knows of people looking for something to get involved in on gaia, fantastic. But we're too undeveloped to start right away. I don't have the resources to do this contest justice. I really wish I knew why we weren't getting the spotlight. Competition isn't exactly high if the spotlight is still for the gaia help center.
